Get help and send feedback

Where to write, how to send feedback from the app, and how to rate Roma.

For help with Roma, write to hello@roma.app. For a thought, a bug or a wish, the apps have a feedback door of their own: Send feedback in the browser and in the Mac app, Provide Feedback on the iPhone. The team reads all of it.

Write to the team

hello@roma.app is the one address, for a question about how something works, a problem you cannot get past, a request about your data (a copy of it, or a deletion you cannot make yourself), or an agent's access you want revoked on Roma's side. It is also the address on the privacy policy and the terms. Say which device you were on (the browser, the Mac app or the iPhone) and what you expected to happen.

Send feedback from the browser or the Mac app

Open the menu that shows your name and email and choose Send feedback. The menu turns into a short form: "Tell us what went wrong, or what you'd like to see. Screenshots help." Type what happened, or press the microphone and say it. Paste, drop or pick screenshots. Press Send, and Roma files it with the team and thanks you. If you leave the form to grab a screenshot, what you typed is still there when you come back.

Provide Feedback on the iPhone

Tap your photo or name at the top of any tab to open Settings, and scroll to Provide Feedback. Describe what happened, what is confusing or what you would like to see, add screenshots, and send it. Roma files it with the team the same way.

Rate Roma on the iPhone

Settings on the iPhone has a Rate Roma row. It opens Roma's App Store listing in the App Store app with the write-a-review sheet already up. Roma also asks once on its own: the first time you open the app on your second day with it, Apple's own rating sheet may appear, with no words from Roma around it. Apple decides whether and how often that sheet shows, which is why Rate Roma is always there as a row you can press yourself. The Mac app is a direct download with no listing to rate, so the row is the iPhone's.

What changed in Roma

The same menu that holds Send feedback links to News, to the changelog, where changes to Roma are written up, and to this Learn library. On the iPhone, Settings has News and Changelog cards that open the same pages.

Help inside the app

Three things answer most questions before you write.

Questions people ask

Where do I report a bug?

Send feedback in the browser or the Mac app, in the menu that shows your name and email, or Provide Feedback under Settings on the iPhone. Describe what happened and add a screenshot. If you cannot sign in at all, write to hello@roma.app.

Can I ask for a feature?

Yes. Send feedback takes a wish as readily as a bug: "what you'd like to see" is in the form's own words. On the iPhone, Provide Feedback does the same. If you would rather write, hello@roma.app reaches the same team.

Where do I find what was released?

The changelog, linked from the menu under your name in the browser and the Mac app, and from the Changelog card under Settings on the iPhone. News sits beside it on both.
