A week under the hood. We spent it on quality and performance, reworking how tasks and notes are stored so the foundation is faster and more flexible, hardening the Operator, and clearing out a stack of bugs big and small. Our new landing page went live, too.

Highlights

A steadier foundation. Most of this week was invisible on purpose. Under the hood, tasks and notes now share one unified storage system (the groundwork for quicker, more flexible features ahead), and we hardened the Operator against a batch of reliability issues: it no longer goes unresponsive, no longer errors out inside a note, and holds on to your note edits across an app restart. Less flash, more solid ground under everything you do. (All clients)

Task Assist, more polished. A round of refinements to last week's Task Assist. The "new work" dot on a task clears the moment you open it, assist cards render correctly in light mode, and starting a fresh chat no longer drags the previous conversation's cards along. Small things that make the whole feature feel finished. (All clients)

Roma has a new home on the web. Our new landing page is live, a proper front door for Roma, with a waitlist for anyone who hasn't joined yet. A good one to share around. (Web)

  • Operator reliability: fixed the Operator going unresponsive, erroring out inside a note's detail view, and losing note edits after an app restart (iOS)

  • Fixed old completed tasks resurfacing as "completed today" (All clients)

  • Rows stuck on "Processing" now detect the stall and offer a Retry, and a deleted item in Operator chat reports cleanly instead of hanging for 13 seconds (iOS)

  • Task Assist polish: the "new work" dot clears as soon as you open a task, assist cards render correctly in light mode, and a fresh chat no longer inherits the previous conversation's cards (All clients)
